The “Ho Chi Minh City - GBA Economic and Trade Investment Promotion Conference” was held in Vietnam to promote Hong Kong as the ideal gateway for Vietnamese enterprises and talent to tap into the GBA market.
Co-organised by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau and InvestHK, three investment promotion seminars were held in Melbourne to jointly encourage Australian companies to tap into business opportunities in the GBA via Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Tokyo held a reception in Seoul, Korea, to update some 250 guests from various sectors in Korea on the latest developments in Hong Kong's innovation and technology landscape, as well as the opportunities available through Hong Kong as a gateway to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Co-organised by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the GoGBA Seminar for Legal Sector was held to explore how Hong Kong's legal services talents and enterprises can contribute to and benefit from the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area.
Co-organised by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the GoGBA Seminar for Accounting Sector was held to explore the development of Hong Kong's accounting profession in the Greater Bay Area.
Co-organised by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Promotion Centre of the HKSAR Government, the Office of the Leading Group for the Development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area of Zhongshan Municipality of Guangdong Province, and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Bureau of Zhongshan Municipality of Guangdong Province, the Symposium for Promoting the Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) was held to explore with the participating government officials and business leaders the significant opportunities brought about by Greater Bay Area development to Hong Kong and Zhongshan. The Symposium attracted about 2400 guests.
Co-organised by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in San Francisco and the Bay Area Council, a business luncheon was held to introduce the latest economic situation and development directions of Hong Kong to the local business and innovation sectors, and promote the developmental advantages of the Greater Bay Area. During the luncheon, Invest Hong Kong and the Bay Area Council signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly promote investment promotion exchanges between Hong Kong and the San Francisco Bay Area, with a focus on green economy and sustainable development co-operation.
Co-organised by the HKSAR Government, the Macao SAR Government and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Europe (France) Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference was held in Paris to promote the enormous business opportunities brought by the Greater Bay Area for European businesses to over 400 French and European leaders of the commercial and industrial sectors.
Co-organised by the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, a conference was held in Guangzhou to promote transformation of research and development outcomes of Hong Kong higher education institutions and support the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area. A total of 13 I&T teams from Guangdong and Hong Kong participated in the roadshow.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau organised the GoGBA Development Day to introduce the content of the Overall Development Plan for the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Co-operation Zone, its latest policies and measures as well as the significant development opportunities that are available for Hong Kong residents and enterprises.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau organised the GoGBA Development Day, attracting about 420 participants to learn about the entrepreneurial and career opportunities in the Greater Bay Area. The event featured presentations by government officials and representatives of relevant organisations, as well as experience sharing by young entrepreneurs to help participants grasp the opportunities of Greater Bay Area development and create greater room for business and career development.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong co-orgainsed GoGBA Development Day in collaboration with the Guangzhou Office of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. As the first event of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Promotion Centre after it officially came into operation, GoGBA Development Day was held with the participation of a number of entrepreneurs who have successfully developed their businesses in the Greater Bay Area to share experiences, and to have in-depth exchanges with small and medium-sized enterprises, young entrepreneurs and start-ups in Hong Kong and in the Mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area on how to make the most of the opportunities brought about by the GBA as well as establish business connections.
Organised by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau, GoGBA Development Day was held to provide up-to-date business information, especially the development opportunities in Qianhai Shenzhen and Nansha Guangzhou, to over 450 local enterprises and professionals who aspire to develop their business or career in the Greater Bay Area.

Co-organised by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office of the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau and Invest Hong Kong, the three-day GBA Global Investment Promotion Roadshow in Toronto was held to promote the significant opportunities brought about by Greater Bay Area development to the local business representatives and young entrepreneurs.
To mark the second anniversary of the promulgation of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government held a ceremony named "Greater Bay Area - Starting Line to a Bright Future" with a theme of youth development.

The International Forum on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area co-organised by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held in Hong Kong. The theme of the forum was “New Frontier of Reform and Opening-up, New Endeavour under ‘One Country, Two Systems’, and New Platform for Win-Win Cooperation”. Around 600 political and business leaders and academics from around the world attended the event.

The Symposium on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area co-organised by the governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao was held in Tokyo, Japan. This was the first joint overseas promotion event by the three governments after the promulgation of the Outline Development Plan in which leaders of the three places introduced the content of the Outline Development Plan and the development prospects. It was hoped that the event would enhance the interest of various sectors in Japan in participating in the development of the Greater Bay Area. Over 1 000 executives and leaders from various sectors attended.

Around 800 guests, representing relevant central ministries and various sectors of Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macao, attended the symposium. More than 1000 guests joined the event.
