Abstract

The Zhuhai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has recently issued the above notice on the application for high-level talents in Zhuhai on 28 December 2018. Guidelines of the application are outlined below:

Application scope and target

Talents that work in Zhuhai enterprises with independent legal entity status, fulfil the 2018 Talent Index, as well as those that fulfil the following criteria:

1. Abidance by the law, uphold integrity, maintain good health, having good moral standards, strict work ethic, pragmatic, teamwork and cooperative spirit.
2. Top–notch talents are not restricted by age; category 1 talents are generally under the age of 60, category 2 talents under 55 and category 3 talents under 50.
3. The applicants' high work achievements and their professional skills fulfil the 3 categories in the Zhuhai Talent Index.

Application procedures and methods

Individual applications: Individuals may make applications according to the annual assessment application guidelines and subject to their employer's authorisation.

Employer recommendations: Employers may assess their employees' application documents, and may submit the documents to the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau after obtaining internal approval.

Eligibility assessment: After recognising the standard terms and industry type, the in-charge department of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau may proceed to the authorisation procedure.

Organisation authorisation: The in-charge department of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau may preliminary short-list candidates according to each category.

Candidate Confirmation: After undergoing a round of credit assessment, the talents will be declared for 5 working days. If there are no disagreements, the municipal government will authorise the high-level talents and issue a "Zhuhai High-level Talent Certificate" to them.

Applicants are required to submit the documents specified in the Application Guidelines. They may download the attachments including application form, 2018 Zhuhai Talent Index, assessment criteria and contact details of the 2018 Zhuhai high-level talent assessment authority.

Timeline

The assessment process is carried out all year round, and the due date is the last working day of each quarter.
