Notice on issuing the “Application Guidelines for the 2019 Modern Service Industry Leading Talent Programme”

The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Dongguan published a notice on 28 June 2019 regarding the “Application Guidelines for the 2019 Modern Service Industry Leading Talent Programme”. Hong Kong residents who have worked or started businesses in Dongguan for up to 3 years, remains employed full-time during the year of selection and fulfil certain requirements may apply for the modern service industry leading talent programme in Dongguan. Selected candidates may receive RMB 300,000 and enjoy benefits in housing, medical protection and child education. The application period is from 1 July to 31 July 2019.
Abstract
The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Dongguan published a notice on 28 June 2019 regarding the “Application Guidelines for the 2019 Modern Service Industry Leading Talent Programme”.
Hong Kong residents who fulfil the following criteria may apply to become leading talents in the modern service industry in Dongguan:
- High-level professional and technical talents who are working or have started businesses in Dongguan;
- Aged under 55;
- Have worked or started businesses in Dongguan for up to 3 years;
- Remain employed full-time in Dongguan during the year of selection;
- Have made outstanding innovative achievement in areas such as modern logistics service, financial service, technological research service etc; and
- Fulfil other basic requirements as specified (for details, please refer to appendix 2).
The leading talents in the modern service industry in Dongguan will receive the following benefits:
- Have priority in being nominated for major national and provincial talent projects;
- May be awarded RMB 300,000 in funding support;
- May enjoy direct residential settlement;
- Selected candidates and their immediate family members may enjoy “green channel” services in level 2 or above managed hospitals in Dongguan; and
- The children of selected candidates may receive the same education benefits as local students.
The application period is from 1 July to 31 July 2019.
