The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce jointly issued the “Special Administrative Measures for Foreign Investment (the Negative List) (2019 Version)” (hereinafter referred to as the “2019 Negative List") on 30 June 2019.
The 2019 Negative List has reduced the number of negative lists from 48 which is listed in 2018 Negative List to 40 and has set forth new opening-up measures in the agriculture, mining, manufacturing, transportation and other service sectors.
The 2019 Negative List shall take effect from 30 July 2019, and the “Special Administrative Measures for Foreign Investment) (the Negative List) (2018 Version)” will be abolished at the same time.
