Notice from the Huizhou Education Bureau and the Huizhou Office for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs on Issuing the “Administrative Measures for the Admission and Nurturing of International, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Students in Huizhou Secondary and Primary Schools” (Hui Shi Jiao [2019] No. 303)

The Huizhou Education Bureau and the Huizhou Office for Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs jointly issued the “Administrative Measures for the Admission and Nurturing of International, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Students in Huizhou Secondary and Primary Schools” (“the Administrative Measures”) on 18 November 2019. According to the Administrative Measures, children of eligible Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents may enjoy the same benefits as local students when enrolling in Huizhou schools, with no restrictions on nationality or household registration. The Administrative Measures will be effective from 1 January 2020 and are valid for five years.
