The Finance Bureau of Dongguan issued a notice on “The Interim Measures of Dongguan Municipality Concerning Administration and Financial Subsidies Related to Individual Income Tax Preferential Policies for Overseas High-end Talents and Talents in Short Supply” on 1 December 2019. The measures include the scope of subsidies of individual income tax in Dongguan, the criteria and scope of qualified high-end talents and talents in short supply, calculation methods of financial subsidies, talent identification, subsidy distribution procedures, supervision and management regulations. The measures came into force on 1 December 2019 for a trial of one year.
