The Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province issued the Notice on the Administrative Measures on Open Recruitment of Hong Kong and Macao Residents by (Mainland) Institutions in the Greater Bay Area (Trial) (hereinafter referred to as “the Notice”) on 24 June 2020. The Notice took effect from 24 June 2020, and will be valid until 31 December 2021. It aims at building a talent highland in the Greater Bay Area, and promoting exchanges between talents. According to the Notice, eligible Hong Kong and Macao residents may participate in the open recruitment of posts in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing and institutions based in the provinces mentioned above (except institutions governed by the Civil Servant Law).
