The Zhongshan Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (“the Bureau”) issued the “Administrative Measures for the Doctoral and Postdoctoral Work in the Zhongshan Municipality” (“the Measures”) on 28 October 2021. The Bureau announced that eligible workstations can receive a financial subsidy of RMB800,000 while the eligible postdoctoral researchers can receive research and development funding and living allowance in total of RMB408,000. The Measures come into effect on 1 December 2021 and will be valid for 5 years.
