The General Office of the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government issued the “Administrative Measures for the Pilot Participation Scheme of Housing Provident Fund of the Persons under Flexible Employment in the Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Administrative Measures”) on 26 November 2021. Hong Kong and Macao residents can participate in the housing provident fund scheme in accordance with the Administrative Measures. For the requirement of withdrawing and using the housing provident fund, please refer to Articles 13 and 14. The Administrative Measures shall be implemented on 26 November 2021 with validity period of 5 years.
