On 5 January 2022, the People’s Government of Zhongshan Munipality issued the “Various Policy Measures on Promoting the Digital and Intelligent Transformation and Development of the Manufacturing Industry in Zhongshan Munipality”. The “Policy Measures” include 8 major sections and a total of 14 articles, covering the establishment of a demonstration benchmark for the digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing enterprises, promotion of the digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing enterprises, and strengthening digital and intelligent supply capabilities. Specific measures include encouraging the construction of digital and intelligent demonstration factories and workshops, supporting the digital and intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry, and supporting the collaborative innovation of the manufacturing industrial chain. The “Policy Measures” will come into force 30 days from the date of issuance and will be valid until 31 December 2025.
