On 10 January 2022, the Zhuhai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Zhuhai Intellectual Property Administration) issued the “14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Intellectual Property Industry in Zhuhai”. The Plan analyses the development foundation of Zhuhai’s intellectual property industry during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period and the development prospects during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, and clarifies the overall idea, development goals, key tasks and safeguard measures. Among them, the key tasks cover 5 major areas, including comprehensively strengthening the capacity of intellectual property protection, in-depth implementation of intellectual property quality enhancement projects, and developing an intellectual property high ground in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
