On 10 February 2022, the General Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province issued the “Implementation Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Public Hospitals”. The “Implementation Opinions” proposed a total of 28 specific measures from 6 aspects, including building a new system for high-quality development of public hospitals, leading the new trend for high-quality development of public hospitals, and improving new efficiency and high-quality development of public hospitals. Among them, specific measures include further promoting the construction of high-level hospitals, establishing and improving the hierarchical, stratified and triage treatment system for major epidemics, and building a cooperation mechanism for sharing high-quality medical and health resources in the Greater Bay Area.
