The Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Shenzhen Municipal Finance Bureau (“the authority”) issued the “Implementation Measures of Work for Living Subsidy for Newly Introduced Doctoral Talents in the Shenzhen Municipality” (“the Implementation Measures”) on 25 March 2022. The authority announced that eligible Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign talents who have doctoral agrees and employment in the Shenzhen Municipality on or after 1 September 2019 for the first time can apply for living subsidy. The maximum standard of the living subsidy is RMB100,000 per person. The Implementation Measures would be effective from 15 April 2022 and valid for 5 years.
