The General Office of the People’s Government of the Guangdong Province issued the “Notice in relation to Issuance of Several Measures to Further Support College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Guangdong Province” on 14 May 2022. Eligible college students who have self-employment and established start-ups can apply for a one-time start-up subsidy of RMB10,000 and a rental subsidy from RMB4,000 to RMB6,000 per year for a period up to 3 years. Projects that are rated as provincial entrepreneurial projects by the provincial human resources and social security departments can enjoy subsidy of RMB50,000 to RMB200,000 according to the regulations.
