Notice of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone on Issuing the “10 Measures for Promoting High-quality Development of the Manufacturing Industry in Nansha New Area (Free Trade Zone)”

On 6 July 2023, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone issued the “10 Measures for Promoting High-quality Development of the Manufacturing Industry in Nansha New Area (Free Trade Zone)” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to offer innovation-driven rewards, including a one-off reward of RMB 2 million or RMB 5 million to provincial or national manufacturing innovation centres that are established in Nansha New Area. In order to support intelligent manufacturing industry, the Measures specified that a lump-sum reward of RMB 1 million and RMB 500,000 will be provided to national intelligent manufacturing demonstration plant or enterprises with excellent intelligent manufacturing scenario. The Measures will be implemented from 6 July 2023 and will be valid until 31 December 2027.
