The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of the Foshan Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the “Application Guidelines for Vocational Skill Enhancement Subsidies in Foshan Municipality” (“the Application Guidelines”) on 6 September 2023. The authorities announced that subsidy targets are workers aged 16 and above with Foshan Municipal household registration or employment in Foshan Municipality (including foreign workers employed in Foshan Municipality, and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan individuals). Workers that self-studied or voluntarily participated in vocational skills training, may obtain corresponding vocational skills level certificates. Individuals who meet the subsidy criteria should submit their applications within 12 months from the certificate issuance date through the “Guangdong Province Vocational Skills Training Subsidy Application Management Information System” (https://ggfw.hrss.gd.gov.cn).
