The Zhaoqing Municipal Tax Service, State Taxation Administration (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the 2023 Application Guidelines for Individual Income Tax Preferential Policies Subsidies in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Zhaoqing Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 1 December 2023. The authorities announced that the application work of identification and individual income tax subsidies for overseas high-end talents and talents in shortage shall be conducted through online application. The application period shall be effective from 1 December 2023 and valid until 20 January 2024.
