On 14 December, the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Commerce issued the “Measures on Accelerating the Construction of New Economic and Trade Channels for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Promoting the High-quality Development of Modern Logistics Industry in Zhuhai Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to support qualified warehousing enterprises that are conducting cross-border transport business in Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. In particular, a monthly subsidy will be provided at RMB2.5 per square meter for eastern area (i.e. the eastern area of the Zhuhai Bridge) and RMB2 per square meter for western area (i.e. the western area of the Zhuhai Bridge). The annual subsidy for each project shall not exceed RMB1 million. The Measures come into force from the date of issuance and will be valid until 31 December 2025.
