The Dongguan Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to “Various Measures to Further Promote the Work Reform of Professional Titles in Enterprise in Dongguan Municipality”” (“the Notice”) on 3 January 2024. The authorities announced that the pilot work for evaluation of professional titles for engineering talents from Hong Kong and Macao in the Guangdong-Hong Hong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Eligible Hong Kong and Macao professional talents may apply for engineering technical titles evaluation through specific methods, specific criteria, and specific channels. The pilot professions include 5 disciplines in the engineering series such as architecture.
