Notice of the Zhuhai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation on Issuing the “Work Plan for Electronic Registration of Hong Kong-funded Enterprises in Zhuhai Municipality” (Zhu Shi Jian Gui [2024] No.1)

On 4 February 2024, the Zhuhai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation issued the “Work Plan for Electronic Registration of Hong Kong-funded Enterprises in Zhuhai Municipality” (“the Plan”). The Plan specified that the scope of the full-process electronic registration of Hong Kong enterprises covers: - (1) the establishment, alteration, deregistration and record filing of limited companies and partnership invested by a single or several Hong Kong natural person investors or non- natural person investors in Zhuhai Municipality; and (2) the establishment, alteration, deregistration and record filing of limited companies and partnership jointly invested by a single or several Hong Kong natural person investors or non-natural person investors and mainland China investors. In addition, the Plan proposed to standardize the material requirements of pre-registration application, registration application and approval process. The Plan shall be effective from 4 February 2024 and remain valid until 3 February 2027.
