The Ministry of Education in Guangzhou Municipal Panyu District, the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Communist Party of China, Guangzhou Municipal Panyu District (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Implementation Measures for the Application of Points-based School Enrolment Scheme for Accompanying Children of Residents Coming to the Guangzhou Municipal Panyu District” (“the Notice”) on 13 March 2024. The authorities announced that residents coming to Guangzhou Municipal Panyu District can log into the online points-based enrolment application system within specified period to submit the online application for eligible accompanying children who wish to participate in the points-based school enrolment scheme. The Implementation Measures shall be effective from 13 March 2024 and valid for 3 years.
