Notice of the Management Committee of Guangzhou Development Zone and the People’s Government of Huangpu District on Issuing the “Measures for Revised Policy on Promoting High-Quality Economic Development in Guangzhou Development Zone (Huangpu District)” (Sui Pu Fu Gui [2024] No.5)

On 20 April 2024, the Management Committee of Guangzhou Development Zone and the People’s Government of Huangpu District issued the “Measures for Revised Policy on Promoting High-Quality Economic Development in Guangzhou Development Zone (Huangpu District)” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to provide a one-off settlement of RMB300,000 to high-tech enterprises that are newly settled in the Guangzhou Development Zone (Huangpu District) and that exceed a certain scale. In addition, enterprises in the Developmet Zone that participate in key and approved international, Hong Kong, and Macau science and technology cooperation project shall be offered a maximum subsidy of RMB2 million for each project. The Measures come into effect on 20 April 2024 and will be valid until 18 May 2026.
