On 29 April 2024, the Development and Reform Bureau of Luohu District of Shenzhen Municipality issued the “10 Measures for Supporting the Green and Low-Carbon Industries Development in Luohu District of Shenzhen Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to support products with carbon footprint labelling certification and encourage the application and demonstration of carbon footprint labelling certification. For enterprises that obtain the carbon footprint labelling certification among the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the previous year, a one-off reward of up to RMB10,000 per certificate will be offered. The maximum annual reward for each enterprise is RMB50,000. The Measures came into effect on 29 April 2024 and will remain valid until 31 December 2025.
