The Office of People’s Government of Huizhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Work for Accompanying Children of Remote Workers to Enrol in the High School Examination after Receiving Compulsory Education in Huizhou Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 15 May 2024. The authorities announced that eligible accompanying children of remote workers shall fill in their preferred choice 0f ordinary high school and pay the same amount of tuition for ordinary high school as students that are residents of Huizhou Municipality. These Measures shall be effective from 1 September 2024 and valid for 3 years.
