The Office of the People’s Government of Gaoming District of Foshan Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Measures for the Introduction and Cultivation of Medical and Health Talents in the Gaoming District of Foshan Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 17 May 2024. The authorities proposed that for newly recruited full-time medical talents with high academic degrees, subsidies of up to RMB 300,000 and RMB 250,000 will be provided to postdoctoral and doctoral degree holder respectively. The subsidies will be disbursed over 3 years in the ratio of 40%, 30%, and 30%. The Notice will be effective from 17 May 2024 and valid until 5 July 2026.
