The Shenzhen Municipal Qianhai Administration Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the “Implementation Measures to Support the Gathering of High-end Legal Services in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Legal Services Zone by the Shenzhen Municipal Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone Administration (Revision)”” (“the Notice”) on 19 May 2024. The authorities announced that overseas law firms and outstanding domestic national-wide law firms, cooperatively establish Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao joint venture law firms in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone or Sino-foreign joint venture law offices, is eligible to apply for a one-off settlement support of RMB2 million, RMB1.5 million or RMB1 million. These Measures shall be effective from 1 June 2024 and valid for 3 years.
