Notice of the General Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipal on Issuing the “Implementation Plan for Low-altitude Economic Development in Guangzhou Municipality” (Sui Fu Ban [2024] No.12)

On 31 May 2024, the General Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipal issued the “Implementation Plan for Low-altitude Economic Development in Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Plan”). The Plan proposed to support flight operating companies, select take-offs and landings area with high commercial value and high demand, and explore the opening of inter-city short-distance direct flights within the Greater Bay Area as well as cross-border flights with Hong Kong and Macao.
