On 7 June 2024, the Zhongshan Industry and Information Technology Bureau issued the “Detailed Implementation Rules for the Funding of Investment Projects for Technological Renovation in Zhongshan Municipality” (“the Rules”). The Rules are applicable to enterprises established in accordance with laws within the administrative jurisdiction of Zhongshan Municipality, and the scope of funding includes support for technological transformation projects, including capital increase and expansion, equipment renewal, green development, digital and intelligent transformation. Among them, the technological transformation projects will be rewarded with no more than 10% of the total amount of newly purchased equipment and systems, and with a maximum reward of RMB 6 million for a single project. The Rules are effective from 7 June 2024 and will be valid until 31 December 2027.
