The Ministry of Education in Guangzhou Municipal Huangpu District (“the authorities”) issued the “Implementation Rules to Policy Measures to Promote High-quality Talent Development in Guangzhou Municipal Development Zone (Huangpu District)” (“the Rules”) on 12 June 2024. The authorities announced that urgently needed talents of basic education shall be selected through comprehensive evaluation. Outstanding talents are eligible to apply for settlement subsidy of RMB1.5million after tax, and core talents are eligible to apply for settlement subsidy of RMB800,000 after tax. These Rules shall be effective from 12 June 2024 and valid until 7 February 2027.
