On 13 June 2024, the Authority of Qianhai of the Shenzhen Municipality issued the “Measures for Promoting the High-Quality Development of Commercial and Logistics Industries in the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone” (“the Measures”). The Measures proposed to provide an annual support of RMB300,000 for eligible non-profit industry associations that have been operating in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone since 1 January 2022 in the fields of trade, modern logistics, shipping services, and commerce and Hong Kong industry associations that are registered and recognized as industry representative in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. At least 2 employees must be hired in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone and the annual support will be provided up to 3 years. The Measures will be implemented from 25 June 2024 and valid for 3 years.
