The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of the Yuexiu District of the Guangzhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Issuance of the “Implementation Measures for Reviewing the Talent Green Card in the Yuexiu District of Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Measures”) ” (“the Notice”) on 13 June 2024. The authorities proposed that non-Guangzhou municipal household registration domestic and foreign talents working in or having start-up business in the Yuexiu District, including those holding senior management positions in key enterprises, key modern business enterprises, key investment enterprises or key licensed financial institutions in the Yuexiu District, are eligible to obtain the “Guangzhou Talent Green Card” in accordance with the Measures. The Measures shall be implemented from 13 June 2024 and valid until 15 June 2028.
