The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance issued the “Notice in relation to Adjusting the Basic Pensions for Retirees in 2024” (“the Notice”) on 13 June 2024. The Notice is applicable to retirees who have completed retirement procedures by 31 December 2023 and will receive monthly basic pensions. The nationwide basic pension shall be adjusted by 3% of the average monthly basic pensions of retirees in 2023.
