On 19 June 2024, the Huangpu District Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau, the Developing Area Construction and Transport Bureau of Guangzhou Municipality issued the Trial Measures for Management of Professional Enterprises and Professionals in the Construction Engineering Field of Hong Kong and Macao (“the Measures”). The Measures are aimed at promoting in-depth cooperation in engineering construction field of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and introducing the professional enterprises to provide services conveniently and orderly within Huangpu District of Guangzhou Municipality. Professional enterprises that have obtained construction and engineering qualifications in Hong Kong and Macao, meet the specified conditions and are legally recognized, can directly provide services within the Huangpu District. The Measures will be implemented from 21 June 2024 and valid for three years.
