The Shenzhen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Carrying out the Application and Accreditation of the 2024 Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base in Shenzhen Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 24 June 2024. The authorities proposed that the innovation platform applying for the Shenzhen Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base accreditation should have dedicated operational and management organization, provide sufficient entrepreneurial facilities and possess professional service capabilities. In particular, the applicants shall operate at least 10 ongoing projects or start-up enterprises controlled by Hong Kong and Macao youth or Hong Kong and Macao projects or enterprises shall account for at least 20% of all the settled projects or enterprises.
