On 26 June 2024, the Commerce Bureau of the Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone issued the “Measures to Promote Steady Growth of the Wholesale and Retail Industry in Guangzhou Nansha New Area (Free Trade Zone) in 2024” (“the Measures”). The Measures specify that eligible enterprises in the wholesale and retail industry in Nansha will be given a one-off incentive of RMB 10,000 to RMB 50,000 per RMB 100 million of incremental sales in 2024, and enterprises those settled in Nansha with actual business activities and signed a leasing contract of more than 2 years (from 2024 onwards) will be given a one-off incentive of RMB 10,000/entity. The Measures will be implemented from 26 June 2024 and be valid until 31 December 2024.
