On 26 June 2024, the Dongguan Industry and Information Technology Bureau issued the “Measures to Promote High-Quality Development of the Industrial Masterbatch Industry in Dongguan Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures consist of 20 articles in 6 major areas, and the scope of funding includes support for the construction and development of the industrial masterbatch industry and cultivation of industrial talents. Major innovation teams and industry leaders will be given a maximum of RMB 10 million in home purchase subsidies and RMB 350,000 in living subsidies, while for scientific and technological innovation talents, they are entitled to an award of up to RMB 1 million per person per year. The Measures will be implemented from 24 July 2024 and be valid until 31 December 2026.
