Notice in relation to the “Eligibility Standards and Waiting Rules for Social Security Housing in Zhongshan Municipality

The Zhongshan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the “Eligibility Standards and Waiting Rules for Social Security Housing in Zhongshan Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 8 July 2024. The authorities proposed that housing security will be granted to low-income families with housing difficulties, poor individuals, and lower-middle-income families with housing difficulties. Eligible individuals or families can apply for renting public rental housing in industrial parks or receive general rental subsidies. The Notice is effective from 8 July 2024 and valid for 3 years.
