The Science and Technology Bureau of Huizhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Organizing the 2024 Science and Technology Talent (Team) Project Registration in Huizhou Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 12 July 2024. The authorities proposed to provide a subsidy of up to RMB 5 million to the leading science and technology talent projects, and RMB 500,000 to excellent youth science and technology projects. 60% of the subsidy will be used for scientific research, and 40% will be used as living allowance for the selected talents. The Notice is effective from 12 July 2024.
