The Organization Department of the Guangzhou Municipality Conghua District Committee of Communist Party of China (“CPC”), the Bureau of Science, Technology, Industry and Informatization of Guangzhou Municipality Conghua District and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Guangzhou Municipality Conghua District (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Revising the Measures for Incentivizing Industrial Talents in Conghua District of Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 12 July 2024. The authorities proposed to grant talent introduction subsidy to talents who work in the enterprise for the first time, sign an employment contract for at least 3 years and have continuously paid social insurance premiums in the district for not less than 1 year, according to the standard of up to RMB 80,000 for doctoral candidates and RMB40,000 for master candidates. The Notice is effective from 12 July 2024 and valid for 5 years.
