The Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation of the Baoan District of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Carrying out the 2024 Rental Subsidy Application for High-level Science and Technology Innovation Talents and Teams in Baoan District” (“the Notice”) on 22 July 2024. The authorities proposed to offer a monthly rent subsidy of 50% of the actual rent per square metre and not exceeding RMB 50 per square metre to enterprises that have obtained awards for high-level technological innovation talents and teams. The subsidy is provided at most for 3 years. The Notice is effective from 22 July 2024.
