The Hygiene and Health Bureau of Huangpu District of Guangzhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Carrying out the “Implementation Measures of Promoting the High-quality Development of Talents in Guangzhou Development Zone (Huangpu District)” (“the Notice”) on 22 July 2024. The authorities proposed to provide a subsidy of up to RMB3 million to outstanding medical teams, which will be offered in instalments over a 5-year period. In addition, paediatric medical personnel will receive a maximum housing subsidy of RMB 150,000. The Notice is effective from 22 July 2024 and valid until 7 February 2027.
