On 23 July 2024, the Office of the Guangzhou Nansha District Administrative Committee and the Office of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Nansha District issued the “Various Opinions on Land Management in Support of the Development of Emerging Industrial Parks in Guangzhou Nansha New Area (Free Trade Zone)” (“the Opinions”). The Opinions promote the cooperation between Guangzhou Nansha, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, as well as the integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries. It also provides supplementary guidance on land management in Nansha. Specifically, the Opinions allow emerging industries and innovative technology companies to apply for site selection in various science and technology innovation platforms and strategic emerging industry clusters (such as Biotech Valley, Digital Valley, and Health Valley). The Opinions will be from 24 July 2024 and will be valid for 3 years.
