On 31 July 2024, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of the Tianhe District of Guangzhou Municipality and the High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee of the Tianhe District of Guangzhou Municipality issued the “Various Policy Measures for Accelerating the High-Quality Development of Software and Information Technology Service Industry in Tianhe District of Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Measures”). The measures are applicable to eligible software and information technology service enterprises in Tianhe District. For newly established enterprises (including newly incorporated or newly relocated from outside Guangzhou) with annual business revenue higher than RMB100 million, a one-time incentive of RMB500,000 will be given if the growth rate of the business is more than 10% in the first accounting year after the enterprise is established. Among them, a one-time incentive of RMB 800,000 will be given to eligible enterprises newly established in the core area of Tianhe Smart City and Tianhe High-Tech Zone. The Measures will be implemented from 31 August 2024 and will be valid until 31 December 2026.
