The Office of the People’s Government of Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Revising the Implementation Measures for Assisting the People with Disabilities in Nansha District” (“the Notice”) on 1 August 2024. The authorities proposed to provide subsidies to the people with disabilities employed by start-up enterprises or individual industrial and commercial households. People with disabilities can apply for a 50% subsidy on self-use rental premises, with a maximum annual subsidy of RMB30,000 for 3 consecutive years. The Notice is effective from 1 August 2024 and valid for 5 years.
