On 3 August 2024, the Authority of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone of Shenzhen Municipality issued the “Administrative Measures for Innovative Industrial Housing in Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Co-operation Zone” (“the Measures”). The Measures apply to institutions whose main business includes the financial industry, exhibition industry, trade and logistics, technology services, professional services, new international trade, modern marine industries, digital and fashion industries, cultural and tourism sectors, advanced manufacturing and other sectors encouraged for development in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone. Hong Kong-funded institutions can apply for innovative industrial space at a rental price set at 70% of the reference price. For Hong Kong-funded enterprises that meet specific conditions, the rental price will be set at 50% of the reference price. The Measures will be implemented from 17 August 2024 and will be valid for 5 years.
