The Civil Affairs Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality and the Finance Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Adjusting the 2024 Minimum Basic Living and Fosterage Standard for Orphans in Shenzhen Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 6 August 2024. The authorities proposed that the minimum living Fosterage Standard of orphans (including those living in children’s welfare institutions) in Shenzhen Municipality for the year 2024 will be adjusted to RMB2,560 per person per month. The Notice is effective from 6 August 2024.
