On 6 August 2024, the Commerce Bureau of the Shenzhen Municipality issued the “Various Measures on Accelerating the Integrated Development of Domestic and Foreign Trade” (“the Measures”). The Measures promote mutual recognition of inspection standards and fosters the Standards Innovation Alliance in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in order to support Hong Kong and Macao enterprises in expanding into Mainland market and to promote domestic and foreign trade. The Measures also promote reforms on customs clearance facilitation and continuous enhancement of customs clearance efficiency. The Measures are effective from 6 August 2024.
