On 16 August 2024, the Guangdong Provincial Financial Regulatory Bureau issued the “Notice in relation to Improving the Work for Financial Subsidies for Equipment Renewal Loans” (“the Notice”). The Notice states that from 7 March 2024 to 31 December 2024, for qualified equipment loans obtained by operating entities, interest subsidies will be provided by the central government. The Notice is effective from 16 August 2024.
