The Tax Service of Shenzhen Municipality, State Taxation Administration, the Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Shenzhen Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Insurance Contributions Matters from 1 July 2024” (“the Notice”) on 16 August 2024. The authorities proposed that employers must file and settle the social insurance contributions to the tax authorities by the 25th of the month in which the insurance period falls. The Notice is effective from 1 July 2024.
