On 23 August 2024, the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau issued the “Various Measures to Accelerate the Integrated Development of Domestic and Foreign Trade in Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Measures”). The Measures promote fair competition between domestic and foreign investments, ensuring that various policies and measures are also applicable to the foreign enterprises. The Measures also support domestic trade enterprises in expanding into the international markets and facilitates the construction of an international cargo hub shared by the airports in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, creating a convenient and efficient air freight corridor. The Measures shall be effective from 23 August 2024 and valid for 3 years.
